Welcome!  I\u2019m Karen Velichka, Registered Psychologist located in Calgary, Alberta.  I provide counselling services (via Telepsychology) for clients residing in Alberta, Nunavut, and New Brunswick.<\/span><\/p>\n

I hold a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Master of Arts degree in Psychology (Emphasis in Counselling) from Webster University (Netherlands). I am licensed, and in good standing, with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).<\/p>\n

While the foundation of my practice is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I also utilize a Person-Centred approach with my clients. This combination provides connection, validation, collaboration, and structure to achieving your goals.<\/p>\n

Outside of my practice, I enjoy adventures with my husband and two tween\/teen daughters. Of all the places I\u2019ve had the privilege to travel and live, I continue to be enamoured with being a neighbour of the Rocky Mountains. I like to recharge by engaging in various outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and skiing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
